Schuco certified after IFS
We are certified after International Food Standard (IFS) since 9th August 2005. Therewith we are in a position to do justice to the highest requests of product safety. In addition to our quality management after ISO 9001:2000 and our environmental management after ISO 14001 this is another milestone in the history of our company.
Marking of allergenic substances
On 25th November 2005 the ECC-council-regulation 2003/89/EG, which prescribes obligatory the marking of allergenic ingredients in groceries, came into force. The unwilling cross-contamination during storage and mixing

could turn out to be a problem. So please check through your own HACCP-concept if you could exclude the possibility of accidental or unwilling mixing with allergenic substances, or if you perhaps have to mark it. If you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact our field workers or our quality management.
Organic spices -more bureaucracy
Please note that since 1st July 2005 the ECC-council-regulation 392/2004 is effective after which also companies which only trade with organic spices has to subject to the observation of the organic-control-authorities. Information about this could be requested from us.
